The FIFA Fan Festival in Philadelphia surpassed 250,000 visitors as of Wednesday, in just under two weeks of the tournament, Philadelphia Soccer 2026 announced.
The festival, held at East Fairmount Park’s Lemon Hill, welcomed a record crowd of 54,136 visitors on Friday, June 19, the day at Lincoln Financial Field hosted a match between Brazil and Haiti. It also drew an estimated 38,000 to a fan gathering at Stateside Live! at the Sports Complex.

The festival at Lemon Hill has included watch parties for multiple games per day, a rotating selection of more than 80 food vendors, live concerts and a 10,000-square-foot retail space as well as sponsorship activations. The festival is free to enter with a reservation, and it’s the only fan festival among the United States cities that is open for all 39 days of World Cup competition through the final.
“Crossing 250,000 guests and doing it while welcoming the biggest single-day Fan Festival crowd in the country, says everything about how Philadelphia shows up for a moment like this,” Executive Producer of FIFA Fan Festival Philadelphia Michael DelBene said in a news release. “Being the only U.S. host city open every day of the tournament means there is always a place here to celebrate the world’s game and Philadelphia has embraced that role like nowhere else.”
The City of Philadelphia estimated that more than 500,000 Amtrak trips have been taken or booked through 30th Street Station so far in the tournament, with Thursday marking the fourth of six games in Philadelphia.
After the Brazil-Haiti game, SEPTA reported 26,800 riders on the Broad Street Line, a ridership exceeded only by the 2023 and 2025 NFC Championship games. That day also included a single-day-high of 8,800 rides on the city’s Indego bike-sharing program.
The city’s three games through Wednesday have been at 99.98 percent capacity of attendance.
