Winning pitcher Bo West had a triple and two RBIs to lead North Pocono to a 5-3 win over Abington White in District 17 Little League Majors Baseball pool play Thursday at Moosic.

West went five innings in relief and allowed one run and five hits with no walks and five strikeouts. James Walsh had one hit, one walk and one RBI in the victory.

Preston Grebb and Murphy Lyle each had two hits for Abington White with one run. Peter Adair contributed two RBIs.

Moosic 15, Dunmore 2: At Moosic, Brady Lavelle and Mason Linck each went 3 for 3 to power the home team to a 3½-inning victory. Linck had four RBIs and Lavelle drove in two runs.

Brady James added two hits and two RBIs for Moosic. Gio Sosa chipped in two hits, while Jack Pierson had three RBIs and Wyatt Davis drove in two.

Cullen Hart doubled and Luciano Cintron had one hit and one RBI for Dunmore.

South Scranton 12, North/East/Connell 5: At Old Forge, Lucas Hawver had two home runs and three RBIs to lead South Scranton to its win.

Xavier Hidago added two hits and two RBIs, while Will Bernavage and Dustin McDonnell contributed two hits apiece. Solomon Edelstein knocked in two runs.

Blake Matcheson led North/East/Connell with two hits. Daniel Kohut, Colby Davis and Jaxon Zabol had one RBI each.

Old Forge 14, Dingman Delaware 0: At Old Forge, Joey Barbuti and Brandon Reyes combined on a three-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts. Barbuti allowed two hits and fanned eight in three innings. Reyes gave up one hit, walked two and whiffed five in two innings.

Barbuti also had two hits and three RBIs for Old Forge. Michael Casale added two hits and one RBI and Triston Soeth had two RBIs.

Kyle Pituch had two hits and Landon Cucinello one hit for Dingman Delaware.

District 32 Majors Baseball

At Green Ridge, John Labelle’s three-run home run in the first inning sent Wallenpaupack on its way to a 12-2 win over Lakeland in District 32 Little League Majors pool play Thursday.

Labelle finished with two hits. Gaige DeRossi had two hits with a double and four RBIs. Jeffrey Wentzel and Gabriel Ryner also had two hits each.

Jack Steger had two RBIs for Lakeland.

Carbondale 5, Green Ridge 3: At Green Ridge, Reed Lesjack had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs to spark Carbondale past the host team.

Krimsyn Kohler also had two hits for Carbondale, while Luke Zielinski knocked in two runs. Jadryan Serrano was the winning pitcher.

Mattingly Ardan paced Green Ridge with two hits. Christian Liuzzo and Patrick Flynn both doubled.

District 32 9-10-11 Baseball

At Blakely Borough Recreational Complex, Liam Kolata hit a three-run home run to highlight a 14-0 win for Green Ridge over Mid Valley in District 32 9-10-11 Baseball pool play.

Charlie Trapper and Leland Kearny combined on the shutout for Green Ridge. Trapper started and struck out five, while Kearny fanned six.

Mid Valley pitcher Michel Freund had four strikeouts in 2.2 innings.

Wallenpaupack 12, Carbino Club/Archbald 2: At Blakely Borough Recreational Complex, Jaxson Wentzell was 2 for 3 with three RBIs to lead Wallenpaupack to victory.

Wyatt Elston and Jeff Swanick also were 2 for 3 for the winners.

Aiden LaCoe went 2 for 2 with two RBIs for Carbino Club/Archbald. Tyler Smolko contributed one hit.
