Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming wedding of Lia Marie DeMarco, Dunmore, to Justin Jacob Golosky, South Scranton.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Sallyann and Joseph DeMarco, Dunmore. She earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Bloomsburg University and a master’s degree in mass communications from Marywood University. She is an an account executive at Vertex Inc.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Laura and Mark Golosky, South Scranton. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Penn State University and a master’s degree in history from West Chester University. He is an underwriter at Chubb Insurance.
The couple met vacationing at the Jersey shore, over a friendly, competitive game of wiffleball.
The wedding is set for Sept. 11, 2026, in Avalon, New Jersey.
