Marco Luciano had two home runs and three RBIs for the RailRiders, but Indianapolis scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to rally past Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 4-3, on Saturday at Victory Field.

Luciano’s second homer, a two-run blast, gave the RailRiders (40-39) a 3-1 lead in the top of the eighth.

However, Jhostynxon Garcia started a one-out rally in the ninth with a single. Jesus Castillo added a single, and Nick Cimillo walked to load the bases.

Shawn Ross’ two-run single to left tied the game at 3 and chased reliever Eric Reyzelman, who only got one out after replacing Angel Chivilli to start the ninth.

Dominic Fletcher then singled off Dylan Coleman, and Termarr Johnson worked a walk to drive in the winning run.

Luciano led off the game with a solo blast to left field, but Ross tied it in the bottom of the seventh for Indianapolis (33-47) with a sacrifice fly.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre starter Brendan Beck allowed five hits, one run and one walk while striking out five in seven innings.

The series finale is Sunday at 1:35 p.m., with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre’s Alexander Cornielle (0-1 record, 5.14 ERA) and Indianapolis’ Antwone Kelly (3-5, 5.43) the probable pitchers.
