Lehigh Valley hotel is sold to national management firm for $9 million

A hotel in Upper Macungie Township was recently sold for $9 million.

Lehigh County real estate records say the Homewood Suites by Hilton Allentown West changed hands in March. It is at 7687 Industrial Drive, just off Route 100.

Fogelsville Hospitality Invest Et Al is listed as the new owner with AHIP PA Allentown Properties LLC listed as the seller. AHIP purchased the hotel in 2017 for $20.3 million.

The Columbia, Maryland, address of the new owner is shared with Baywood Hotels. According to the company’s website, Baywood “is one of the fastest-growing hotel management and development companies in the nation.” Its portfolio includes Marriott, Hilton and InterContinental Hotels Group brands across the nation.

Built in 2009 by Briad Lodging Group, this four-story Homewood Suites has 108 rooms with kitchens, an indoor pool, a basketball court and a breakfast bar.
