The City of Magnolia had two readings of ordinances last week that would allow residents to vote on a 2% sales tax on prepared food at the November election.
The ordinances were proposed by the Magnolia Advertising and Promotion Commission to help increase the quality of life in Magnolia and to add a community center with an aquatic center.
