L. NAZARETH TWP., Pa. – Officials will hold a news conference Thursday afternoon regarding the baby girl that was found dead in a car seat in the back of her father’s car in Lower Nazareth Township on June 11.
The Northampton County District Attorney’s Office said it will hold the news conference at 1 p.m.
District Attorney Stephen Baratta said the girl was found dead in the back of her father’s car when the region was under an extreme heat warning.
The DA’s office said key findings and witness interviews would help investigators determine if the child’s death warranted criminal charges.
The moments a 911 call was made were captured through a Northampton County Communications dispatcher, saying in part “the baby was in the car for six to seven hours.”
The car was located and parked in the lot of logistics and transport company, ID Logistics, on Hanoverville Road.
A representative from ID Logistics said none of their employees or known affiliates were involved.
