COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A juvenile suspect from Philadelphia was arrested by US Marshals Wednesday in Colorado Springs after being charged with the shooting death of a Penn State student.
The US Marshals Service said the Colorado Violent Offender Task Force apprehended the suspect in a distant relative’s home in Colorado Springs after attempting to deny his identity.
The US Marshals Service was actively searching for two juvenile fugitives after they were charged with the June 6 shooting death of a Penn State student that occurred in Philadelphia.
As of Wednesday evening, the US Marshals said he was housed at the Zebulon Pike Youth Center waiting for extradition back to Philadelphia.
As of Thursday, the other suspect has not been located.
