LEHIGH COUNTY, Pa. — A man convicted in a 2022 rape that happened in Allentown has learned his sentence.

Felix Javier Pagan, 41, of Marienville, was convicted by a jury in November 2025 of charges of Rape Threat of Forcible Compulsion, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse by Threat of Forcible Compulsion and Strangulation, according to the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.

He was sentenced to serve 50 to 100 years in state prison, authorities said.

Mandatory sentencing applied because of Pagan’s prior convictions for crimes of violence, the DA’s Office said.

Pagan also faces a hearing to determine whether he meets the legal criteria to be deemed a sexually violent predator. That hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 2, 2026, officials said.

On the morning of Jan. 13, 2022, a victim arrived at Allentown Police and told officers she had been raped at an apartment in the 200 block of N. 7th Street, where Pagan had been living at the time, court paperwork says.

Officials say the victim, who was homeless at the time of the offense, told investigators Pagan had let her inside his home so she could get warm.

While inside his home, the victim said Pagan raped and sexually assaulted her, authorities said.

She was able to flee and went immediately to police headquarters, the DA’s Office said.

Swabs taken from the victim tested positive for Pagan’s DNA, according to the DA’s Office.
