ERIE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – Multiple roads are closing in Erie County Monday morning as the area is slammed with rain all night, and a flash flood warning is in effect.
According to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, the following roads are closed due to flooding and debris:
Strecker Road (US-250 to Thomas Road)Kelley Road (Strecker Road to Mason Road)Mason Road (Kelley Road to the Army Reserve Center – EHOVE area)
Once the water recedes and road crews clear debris, the roadways will be reopened.
Between 7 and 13 inches of rain have fallen since late Sunday evening.
The flood has impacted homes, businesses, small streams, urban areas, streets and other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
