Lehigh Valley International Airport and the Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority are hosting a “Fill the Bus” donation drive Tuesday to support federal employees at LVIA affected by the government shutdown.
Collection will be taking place between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at departures level/upper roadway just past the Uber/Lyft pickup area at LVIA’s main terminal, 3311 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County.
Below is a list of products that are being collected:
Non-perishable foods/beverages
Paper products
Toiletries
Diapers and other baby products.
No cash, gift cards or clothing will be accepted.
The drive will benefit Transportation Security Administration, Federal Aviation Administration, and Customs and Border Protection workers who are not receiving a paycheck during the government shutdown.
