The 2026 MLB All-Star game is in Philadelphia this year. The city has several exciting events at both Citizens Bank Park and the Pennsylvania Convention Center while NBC10 will have special coverage leading up to the Midsummer Classic.

Friday, July 10

HBCU Swingman Classic

The HBCU Swingman Classic celebrates the history and legacy of historically Black college and university (HBCU) baseball programs. The game gives 50 Division-1 HBCU baseball players the chance to showcase their talent and gain exposure to scouts, coaches and professional baseball organizations. The players were selected by a committee, including baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr., professional scouts and MLB representatives.

Phillies legend Jimmy Rollins will manage the game while Philadelphia native Dave Sims will call the game. In addition, Philadelphia native and Delaware State player Santino Harwood will play in the game.

The game will take place on Friday, July 10, at 7 p.m. ET at Citizens Bank Park.

Capital One All-Star Village

The All-Star Village at the Pennsylvania Convention Center gives fans from around the world the chance to meet baseball legends, compete in pitching challenges and interactive contests and view historic collections showing baseball’s biggest moments. The village will also include video games, prizes, photo opportunities and other festivities.

The All-Star Futures Game features baseball’s rising stars. The game airs on Sunday, 12 p.m. ET on NBC10!

MLBx

MLBx is a 3-on-3 knockout baseball competition featuring teams made up of Phillies and MLB Legends, AUSL stars, celebrities and more. This year’s participants include Phillies legends Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins and Shane Victorino, Eagles star DeVonta Smith and former Eagle and NFL legend Terrell Owens.

The game will stream on Peacock about 30 to 45 minutes after the Futures Game.

Monday, July 13

Home Run Derby

The T-Mobile Home Run Derby takes place at Citizens Bank Park and will stream live on Netflix on Monday, July 13, at 8 p.m.

MLB All-Star Game

Philadelphia hosts the Midsummer Classic as the American League all-stars take on the National League all-stars at Citizens Bank Park at 8 p.m. ET. The game will air on FOX.
