Music fans can look forward to another season of live entertainment as Erie Events’ Summer Concert Series returns to the Rebich Investments Amphitheater with a lineup of tribute bands and regional favorites.
Concerts will be held every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Rebich Investments Amphitheater beginning July 7 and running through Aug. 25.
The series kicks off this week with Pittsburgh-based rock band The Clarks serving as the opening act on July 7. The popular group, known for hits including “Penny on the Floor” and “Born Too Late,” will launch the annual concert series on Erie’s waterfront.
The music continues on July 14 with Killer Queen, one of the world’s premier Queen tribute bands. The group is known for recreating the legendary sound and stage presence of Freddie Mercury and Queen’s iconic performances.
On July 21, audiences can enjoy The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show, bringing classic Buffett favorites and a tropical atmosphere to the bayfront venue.
Boys in the Band, The Alabama Tribute will perform on July 28. Tiger Maple String Band will perform as the opener at 6:30 p.m.
On August 4 SELLEENA will open for Chris Higbee. The Goats will open for Songbirds: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac on August 11. Brooke Surgener & The Bandits will open for First to Eleven on August 18. On August 25 Boat House Row will perform following an opening by The Division Street Machine.
In addition to live music, attendees will have access to a variety of food vendors and concession stands offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The summer concert series is organized by Erie Events and presented by PNC Bank, providing residents and visitors with weekly opportunities to enjoy live entertainment along Erie’s bayfront throughout the summer.
