Former First Lady Michelle Obama will headline the Jefferson Educational Society’s 2026 Global Summit.
“A Moderated Conversation with Michelle Obama” is set for Oct. 12 at Erie Insurance Arena, 809 French St. and will begin at 6 p.m.
Former President Barack Obama participated in the 2025 Global Summit on Sept. 16, 2025, also held at the Erie Insurance Arena.

“Each year, the Global Summit connects the region with some of the most influential voices of our time, which is why we are honored Mrs. Obama will be joining us in conversation,” Ferki Ferati, president of the Jefferson Educational Society said in a press release.
“Last year’s summit demonstrated what is possible when a community commits to intellectual engagement at the highest level. Mrs. Obama continues that tradition, bringing a unique perspective shaped by achievement across multiple fields and a career defined by innovation, leadership and impact, even in uncertain times.”

Pre-sale tickets for Jefferson Educational Society members are currently available.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on July 13. No prices have been released at this time.
