Letter: Shapiro should have had Pa. participate in Washington event

I think it’s shameful that Gov. Josh Shapiro opted out of sponsoring a Pennsylvania pavilion at the Great American State Fair in Washington, D.C.

Thank goodness Sens. John Fetterman and David McCormick found Pennsylvania businesses to represent us in a wonderful display of bipartisanship.

Pennsylvania played a huge role in the birth of this country. The Declaration of Independence was signed in Philadelphia. You’d think that our governor would set politics aside for this historic event. Thank you Sens. Fetterman and McCormick.
