The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is now accepting applications for its 2026 to 2027 Seasonal Winter Maintenance Program across northwestern Pennsylvania.
PennDOT District 1, which serves Crawford, Erie, Forest, Mercer, Venango, and Warren counties, is seeking applicants for a variety of seasonal positions that help keep roads safe during the winter months. The program runs from September through April and offers opportunities for those looking to earn extra income or gain experience that could lead to future permanent employment.

Winter Trades positions, including Tradesman Helpers and Semi-Skilled Laborers
