Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) in Erie are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of stealing several hundred dollars’ worth of trading cards from a Summit Township retailer.
According to PSP Erie, troopers responded to Best Buy, located at 6650 Peach Street, following a report of a retail theft that occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m. on June 30.
Investigators state in a Facebook post that the suspect stole two boxes of Magic: The Gathering trading cards with a combined value of $320.
Police reported that the suspect left the area in a burgundy 2006 Chevrolet Silverado bearing an Ohio registration plate.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information about the theft is encouraged to contact PSP Erie at (814) 898-1641.
