The Erie SeaWolves are helping local Scouts prepare for the 2026 National Scout Jamboree by granting permission to use several team logos on an exclusive collector’s patch set that will be traded with Scouts from across the nation.
Council shoulder patches and collector patch sets are among the most sought-after memorabilia at the National Scout Jamboree, where thousands of Scouts gather every four years. The patches are widely traded throughout the event and often become treasured keepsakes, commemorating what is often a once-in-a-lifetime Scouting experience.
Patch sets traditionally highlight important landmarks, traditions, and community connections from a Scout’s home region. For many Scouts from northwestern Pennsylvania, the Erie SeaWolves represent some of their fondest Scouting memories, particularly the annual Scout Sleepover in the Outfield at UPMC Park.
The partnership continues a long-standing relationship between the SeaWolves and the Scouting community, providing local youth with memorable experiences that combine baseball, outdoor adventure, and community engagement.
The 2026 National Scout Jamboree will be held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, where more than 15,000 Scouts and leaders are expected to gather for 10 days of outdoor adventure, leadership development, and fellowship at the end of July.
Among the event’s most popular traditions is patch trading, which allows Scouts from across the country to connect, share stories, and exchange symbols that represent their hometowns and local cultures.
The Erie SeaWolves-themed patch set will give Scouts from the French Creek Council a unique opportunity to showcase one of the region’s most recognizable organizations while carrying a piece of home with them to the national event.
