Mural Arts Philadelphia celebrates the nation’s first organized baseball team with “First Organized Baseball Team: 1833,” a mural honoring the Olympic Ball Club of Philadelphia, founded before the rules of the modern game were even standardized. Artist David McShane depicts a batter, pitcher, and fielder from the early 1800s alongside the team’s original clubhouse at Broad and Wallace streets. The design also nods to a pivotal 1869 interracial game between the Olympic Club and the all-Black Pythian Base Ball Club, founded by Octavius Catto. McShane is also known for landmark works such as the Phillies Mural, the Jackie Robinson Mural, and the Philadelphia Stars Negro League Mural.

Following his time as a member of One Direction, Tomlinson launched a solo career with his 2020 debut album “Walls,” which moved more than 1.2 million copies worldwide. His follow-up, “Faith in the Future” in 2022, hit No. 1 in the United Kingdom and cracked the Top 5 of the U.S. Billboard 200. The all-ages show is presented by AEG Presents.
