Emergency crews responded to a distress call involving the Victorian Princess on Erie’s Bayfront Thursday night after strong winds pushed the vessel into a dock near Dobbins Landing.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. while the Victorian Princess was carrying nearly 100 passengers on board. According to authorities, heavy winds caused the vessel to drift into the dock, resulting in limited damage to the boat.
Multiple emergency agencies responded to the scene following the distress call to ensure the safety of those aboard.
Despite the collision, officials confirmed that no injuries were reported among passengers or crew members. Damage to the Victorian Princess was described as minor, and everyone on board was accounted for safely.
