Weekend travelers will need to account for detours due to a closure of Route 100 in Macungie.
The road is closed at the railroad crossing, which is being replaced by Norfolk Southern, the borough announced online.
The closure began at 6 a.m. Saturday and is expected to last until Sunday evening. The timing is subject to change, the borough noted.
The detour includes Route 222, Interstate 78, Lehigh Street, Chestnut Street and Buckeye Road, the announcement said.
