READING, Pa. — The sounds of live music filled the halls of GoggleWorks Center for the Arts on Saturday.

It was for the fourth annual Berks Summer Fest!

GoggleWorks and Berks Arts pair up every year to offer a free, family friendly event that combines live music, activities, and local art experiences to the community.

It was an exciting day for those performing and those taking it all in!

“Excitement pretty much. It’s just always great to have the opportunity to play music, especially with a group of people you enjoy,” said Esteban Ruiz of the Dexter Sales Quartet.

“They put themselves into it and how they interpret the music that some of us grew up with. I knew those songs when they first came out, same along with them then, and now I hear them played live and that is a real treat,” said Rebecca Reppert of Reading.

While the festival was free – organizers were accepting donations to Helping Harvest in Berks County!
