Julia Cicco (Powell Studio)
Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming wedding of Julia Cicco, Scranton, to Vincent D’Auria, Walden, N.Y.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Anthony Cicco, Scranton, and the late Danielle Cicco. She is a 2019 Holy Cross High School graduate, a 2023 Marywood University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a 2025 University of Scranton graduate with a Master of Science in human resource management. She works in human resources for Traditional Home Healthcare in Dunmore and helps out with the family business at Vincenzo’s Pizzeria in Scott Twp.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Vincent and Rhonda D’Auria, Rockland County, N.Y. He is a 2018 John S. Burke Catholic High School graduate, a 2022 Marywood University graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing and a 2024 Marywood University graduate with a Master of Business Administration and Management. He works in business management for Cintas and is an assistant baseball coach at Marywood University.
The couple met at Marywood University. They had class together in 2019 but did not go out on their first date until the summer of 2020.
The wedding is set for Sept. 5, 2026, at 1 p.m. in St. Ann’s Basilica, Scranton, with a cocktail hour and reception to follow at the Radisson.
