WYOMISSING, Pa. — People were hoping to turn their old toys into retro gold in Berks County.
The FX Vintage Toy Roadshow stopped in Wyomissing.
Folks brought in vintage Barbie dolls, “Star Wars” vehicles, dolls and other toys.
The roadshow’s general manager says the event is about searching for memories and making emotional connections.
“We want to have a memory when we buy the toy from the person that’s selling to us and we want to have a memory when a person buys it because this is something that they had in their childhood and they want to buy it back and have a nice, fun memory from when they were a child, when they had a lot less stress and a lot less worries,” Mark Leinberger of the roadshow said.
The roadshow is scheduled to be at the Fairfield Inn Allentown West in Upper Macungie Township Monday and Tuesday.
