BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Fourth of July has come and gone, but people are still celebrating the nation’s anniversary in Bethlehem.

They gathered along Main and Broad streets Sunday afternoon for an “America 250” block party.

There was face painting, classic cars, live music, food and drink vendors and more.

The festival’s footprint stretched down to Central Moravian Church, which is marking its 275th anniversary this year.

We spoke to one vendor who told us the timing couldn’t be better.

“My business is Moravian stars, so it’s a tradition of the Moravians and with it being both the 250th anniversary of the country and also it’s the 275th of anniversary of the old chapel for Central Moravian Church, it made sense to be here and to have my Moravian stars be a part of the celebration,” Cheryl Baker said.

There was also interactive programming for families to enjoy.
