Seven people were injured Saturday afternoon after two Atlantic City police officers crashed their all-terrain vehicles while patrolling the boardwalk, according to police.
The crash occurred at approximately 1:41 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at Brighton Avenue and the Boardwalk.
According to police, the officers were riding their ATVs when they crashed into each other. As a result of the collision, officials said two pedestrians and a boardwalk tram car were struck.
In total, seven people were injured, including both police officers, police said.
The incident remains under investigation by the Atlantic City Police Department.
