The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton extended defenseman Brent Johnson. They also brought in forwards Mark Senden and Lucas Ciona. Johnson appeared in 72 games for the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL, recording 55 points on 12 goals and 43 assists. He was a +18 with three power-play goals. In 13 playoff games, he had six assists and was a plus-seven. Senden appeared in 53 games for the Colorado Eagles, recording 13 points on four goals and nine assists. he was a plus-five with a game-winning goal. Ciona, in 47 games for Calgary in the AHL, had nine points on five goals and four assists. He was a minus-two with a power-play goal.

Johnson, in 75 career ECHL games, has 57 points on 13 goals and 44 assists. He is a +19 with four power-play goals. In 14 playoff games, he has seven assists and is a plus-seven. He’s appeared in two AHL games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton but hasn’t recorded a point. Senden, in 128 career AHL games with Colorado and Charlotte, has 37 points on 13 goals and 24 assists. He’s a +29 with a shorthanded goal and a game-winning goal. In nine playoff games, he has two assists and is a plus-one. Ciona, in 170 games, all for the Wranglers, has 37 points on 17 goals and 20 assists. He’s a -18 with two power-play goals. In two playoff games, he has a goal and is a minus-one.
