The John B. Deaver Auxiliary of the Lankenau Medical Center Women’s Board will host its annual fundraiser, “Celebration for a Cause,” on Saturday, September 26, at Llanerch Country Club.
The event is co-chaired by Joan Hindin and Kathleen O’Connor-Eicke and will honor Alfred E. Putnam, who has stepped down after 30 years as Chairman of the Lankenau Medical Center Foundation Board, and Maribel Hernandez, Medical Director of the Women’s Heart Initiative.
The evening will begin with a festive cocktail party, a silent auction and a DJ at 6 p.m., followed by a program, dinner stations and birthday dessert tribute to Alfred.
Lankenau is recognized as a top choice hospital for cardiac care delivering exceptional outcomes through advanced treatment, innovation and compassionate care.
As the demand for life-saving cardiac care service continues to grow, so does the need to enhance and expand Lankenau’s cardiac care services.
Celebration for a Cause will bring together friends, community leaders and philanthropic partners in support of Lankenau’s cardiac care units to help save even more lives.
