Lackawanna County’s 2026 Art in the Park program began Tuesday at Covington Park, Covington Township, with workshops with local artists, crafts, live music, face painting, special guests and lunch. More family-friendly summer fun continues on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon on July 21 at Merli-Sarnoski Park in Fell Twp; July 28 at Aylesworth Park in Jermyn; and Aug. 4 at McDade Park in Scranton.
