POCONO TWP., Pa. – A charter bus burst into flames in Pocono Township early Monday morning.
According to a social media post from Pocono Township Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to the I-80 west & I-380 split for a charter bus fire.

Authorities say units arrived to find a fully engulfed bus with all occupants evacuated and a small brush fire extending up the hill on the side of the highway.
Jackson Township fire crews also responded to the fire.

Crews operated on scene for about an hour and a half before clearing as Pennsylvania State Police and the tow recovery company remained on scene for clean-up.
