SCRANTON, Pa. — Even though the legendary Big Boy has left the station at Steamtown, our little backyard train will continue to loop to the side of the weather shed here at WNEP.
Our Chief Meteorologist, Kurt Aaron, asked on-air for viewers to help name the backyard train, and you delivered! We received so many options via email, Talkback calls, and letters.
After an internal poll here at WNEP, we were able to narrow the massive list down to a Top 10. Now we need your help to choose the official name!
The poll is live for the public to vote among the Top 10 choices.
The poll will close on Friday, July 17th at 6PM and Kurt will announce the winner live during his forecast around 6:15PM.
