The National Weather Service is forecasting a 100-degree day in Philly, prompting an extreme heat warning from the NWS and a Code Red from the city both beginning at 10 a.m.
The heat index could feel as high as 106 degrees, the NWS said, before slight chances of more thunderstorms.
