READING, Pa.- The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) announced registration for the third annual GO Taste Berks festival is open.
The celebration begins in November and assists local businesses by using interactive digital passports to promote their food and beverages, the GRCA said in a news release.
Attendees are free to use their passports at their own pace and redeem offers, discounts, or samples by scanning businesses’ QR codes, according to the report.
GRCA said businesses that are interested in participating should complete the registration form and submit it to Katie Johnson, GRCA’s Events Coordinator.
Businesses that register by Sept. 4 will be eligible for an on-site video visit from a GRCA staff member and be featured on the alliance’s social media pages, according to the release.

GRCA said participation is free for alliance member businesses and $100 for guest alliance member companies.
The organization that records the highest number of digital passport check-ins will receive a $350 valued eSpotlight email and a social media takeover on GRCA’s channels, according to the report.
GRCA said registration will close on Oct. 16.
