CARLISLE, Pa. – President Trump is heading to the Keystone State Wednesday.
He will stop at the U.S. Army War College near Carlisle, about 30 miles outside Harrisburg.
Trump will be there to take part in a roundtable at the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit, hosted by Sen. Dave McCormick.
Trump is expected to speak around 3:15 p.m.
The summit also features senior military leaders, defense, technology, and finance executives. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CIA Director John Ratcliffe will attend the event.
Organizers say Pennsylvania has played a big role in supporting America’s defense, from industrial strength to technology.
There will be a series of panel discussions throughout the day, including one with Gov. Josh Shapiro.
Trump’s speech Wednesday comes ahead of his address to the nation Thursday night. The address is expected to focus on elections.
Meanwhile, the President’s stop in Carlisle comes as fighting continues in the Middle East.
The U.S. resumed its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz Tuesday saying it’s in retaliation to Iran striking ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran’s threatened Wednesday to halt all energy exports from the Middle East over the blockade.
