Section of South Braddock Avenue along Parkway East detour closed due to water main break

Part of a road along one of the main Parkway East detour routes remains closed due to a serious water main break that occurred Wednesday evening. PennDOT officials said that, due to a water main break along South Braddock Avenue, the road is closed in both directions between Roslyn Street and Woodstock Avenue until further notice. Drivers are encouraged to detour via Braddock Avenue, Electric Avenue, Route 30 (Ardmore Boulevard) and Interstate 376.Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 will provide updates when the break has been repaired. Part of a road along one of the main Parkway East detour routes remains closed due to a serious water main break that occurred Wednesday evening.

PennDOT officials said that, due to a water main break along South Braddock Avenue, the road is closed in both directions between Roslyn Street and Woodstock Avenue until further notice.

Drivers are encouraged to detour via Braddock Avenue, Electric Avenue, Route 30 (Ardmore Boulevard) and Interstate 376.
