Pennsylvania will receive $1 million as part of a $29.6 million settlement with prescription drug manufacturer Glenmark, following allegations of price inflation and anti-competitive practices. 48 states, including Pennsylvania, joined the lawsuit, which claimed Glenmark engaged in practices to inflate prescription prices. “The conspiracy involved efforts to artificially inflate and manipulate prices, reduce competition and unreasonably restrain trade within the generics industry,” Sunday said. From the settlement, Pennsylvania is expected to receive about $1 million.
