to Ripley NY, and the open waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay
OH to Buffalo NY.
* WHEN…Until 10 AM EDT this morning.
* IMPACTS…Low visibility will make navigation difficult.

signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use

…Areas of Dense Smoke and Fog This Morning…
Areas of wildfire smoke and fog, locally dense in spots, may
affect the morning commute. Motorists will encounter visibilities
of less than one mile and possibly as low as one quarter mile
through mid to late morning.
If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave
plenty of distance ahead of you.

THURSDAY NIGHT…
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has issued a
Code RED Air Quality Alert for all of Pennsylvania for Thursday,
July 16th.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has issued a
Code ORANGE Air Quality Alert for all of Pennsylvania for Friday,
July 17th.
Wildfire smoke from Ontario Canada and Minnesota will enter the
Commonwealth from north to south this afternoon and linger through
Friday.
Everyone may experience health effects. Members of sensitive groups
may experience more serious health effects.
