COVINGTON TWP. — The ShopRite of Daleville, 921 Drinker Turnpike, Ste. 24, now features a space for shoppers to quickly charge their electric vehicles after a new EVgo charging station was installed on the property, Laura Bracey, director of operations for Bracey Supermarkets Inc., said in a news release.
The station includes four 350kW fast chargers capable of simultaneously charging eight EVs, and drivers can get a full charge in as little as 15 minutes, officials said.
The installation represents an ongoing effort by Wakefern Food Corp., a New Jersey-based, retailer-owned supermarket cooperative, to expand EV charging access across ShopRite locations, company officials added.
Bracey Supermarkets Inc., a family-owned business and Wakefern member, owns and operates three ShopRite stores: ShopRite of Birney Plaza, ShopRite of Mount Pocono and ShopRite of Daleville, officials said.
