Hosted by Rome Waterways and Trails Advocacy Group and the City of Rome, a public block party was held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 along West Dominick Street. The block party ran from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and welcomed over 600 cyclists and volunteers traveling through the city of Rome as part of the Cycle the Erie Canal Tour, hosted by Parks and Trails New York.
