A Pittston man is jailed without bail on arson charges after police say he used incendiary devices to firebomb a building in the city early Wednesday morning.
Bradley Scott Rush, 32, is accused of setting several fires around an occupied building in the 100 block of Market Street. Police said nobody was injured in the firebombing.
City and state police investigated the incendiary devices and identified Rush as a suspect in the attack, police said.
Police charged Rush with arson, reckless burning, possessing explosives, risking catastrophe, failing to report a dangerous fire, failing to prevent a catastrophe and reckless endangerment.
Magisterial District Judge Ferris Peter Webby Sr. arraigned Rush on the charges Thursday and denied bail.
Rush was being held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
Police said the investigation into the firebombing was ongoing and that additional arrests were possible.
