Allentown celebrates Colombia’s Independence Day despite rain during flag-raising event | State

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — The weather put a damper on a lot of events earlier — but they were able to adapt in Allentown!

Saturday was the flag raising to mark Colombia’s Independence Day!

Allentown’s mayor and event organizers gave speeches inside City Hall, followed by music and dancing.

And then — not even the rain could stop them from heading outside to officially raise the flag.
