A local benefit run and car meet is back this year to help bring medical support to those in need.
Zem Zem Shriners Cycle Corp held their second annual Clutches for Crutches charity run on Sunday. That event supported Shriners Children’s Erie.
Non-profit holds scrap drop off to help kids
The car meet brought all kinds of unique models to the Zem Zem Shrine Club and bikes took off from there, stopping at Creekside Bar and Grille in Waterford, Ashley’s Pub in Spartansburg, Butch’s Pub in Meadville, then to Edinboro at VFW 740.
Organizers said every mile traveled helps bring life-saving care to families in need during hard times.

Dorene Johnston, a Cycle Corps member, said, “They ride so that children can walk, and they try to update all of the equipment to serve the children that need the services.”
For riders, it’s more than just a ride; it’s a chance to support the community while doing what they love.
