Albert J. Plarr, Jr.
OBITUARY
Albert J. Plarr, Jr., 96, formerly of Allentown, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026, in the Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the husband of the late Joan A. (Wieder) Plarr who passed away last year. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Verna M. (Troxell) and Albert J. Plarr, Sr. Albert was a graduate of Emmaus High School. He was a salesman and purchaser for Merrett Lumber in Emmaus and then worked in the same capacity for Ritter and Smith from 1966 – 1995. Albert was a member of the MORA Club of Allentown and Cetronia Ambulance. He was also a member of Cedar Church in Cetronia. Albert enjoyed playing the trumpet, going to car shows and the beach.
Survivors: Daughter: Debra L. Schultz and her husband Earl D. of Reading; Grandchildren: Kelly J. White and her husband Jeremy, Matthew E. Schultz and his wife Kara, Maxwell J. Plarr and his wife Lexi; Great-grandchildren: 7. Albert was predeceased by his wife, his son Steven J. Plarr and by his brother Ronald Plarr.
