Recognized nationally on July 20, Pennsylvania Day celebrates the Commonwealth’s history, heritage and people. America250PA dedicated the occasion to the theme “Pennsylvanians Helping Pennsylvanians” through acts of service across the Commonwealth. Volunteers will participate in projects focused on food insecurity and neighborhood beautification in partnership with Feeding Pennsylvania, Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, The GIANT Company, Natural Food Group, EQT Corporation, and PennDOT.
On Monday, volunteers helped pack boxes of food at the CEO/Weinberg Food Bank.
