Robert T. Girling
OBITUARY
Robert T. Girling, 96, of Salisbury Township, passed away on July 15, 2026, at home. Born in Mt. Kisco, NY, he was the son of the late Albert N. and Kate J. (Knight) Girling. He proudly served in the Korean War with the National Security Agency (NSA). As an attorney and real estate developer, he was a partner at Kravco for 27 years, retiring in 1997.
He was a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and Columbia Law School. He was a member of Lehigh Country Club and Saucon Valley Country Club. He was very involved with the Good Shepherd Home, receiving the Raker Award and a former chairman of their golf outings. He was a 33rd Degree Mason, a member of William L. Mcilroy Lodge 769-Baldwin Twp, PA, Scottish Rite Consistory-Pittsburgh, PA and LuLu Temple-Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Survivors: Daughter: Louise B. Girling of San Diego, CA, Son: John K. Girling of Chester Springs, PA, Grandchildren: Robert Girling and his wife Nicole, John Girling, Christina Girling, Kimberly Whitehouse and her husband Marc, Great-Grandchildren: Christian Thomas Girling, Skylar Josephine Girling, Savannah Grace Girling, Nora James Whitehouse, Emerson Louise Whitehouse, Wes Carter Washington, Nieces: Susan Jensen, Barbara Girling and Janet Bailey and Former Wife: Lee Fishbein and her daughters: Danika and Phaedra. He was preceded in death by his former wife: Mary Schuyler Girling.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 11 A.M. at the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at: www.jsburkholder.com
