Southwest Airlines will begin flying travelers from Philadelphia to Baltimore in March 2027, the company said. (Yes, you read that right.)
The 30-minute flight will takeoff twice a day, and is intended to connect Philly travelers with Southwest’s hub in Baltimore.
The intended goal of the flights are to connect people to other flights taking off from Baltimore that will bring them to their final destinations, such as Texas, Florida and the Caribbean, the company said.
In their announcement, Southwest said it was also adding four weekly flights from PHL to Las Vegas, and adding four additional flights from PHL to Nashville.
