Morey’s Piers has announced it will host the inaugural CHOP Friends & Family Day to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The event is set for Saturday, Aug. 29, at Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks in Wildwood, New Jersey.
This fundraiser is designed to support CHOP’s lifesaving care, research, and family-centered programs.
“At Morey’s Piers, family has always been at the heart of everything we do,” said Kyle Morey, marketing director at Morey’s Piers, in a statement shared with the Cape May County Herald. “We’re honored to host an event to benefit CHOP and create a day of fun that directly supports children and families facing some of life’s greatest challenges. Every child deserves the chance to experience the joy of childhood, and we’re proud to support the incredible work CHOP does every day to make that possible.”
“CHOP’s impact extends far beyond the walls of our hospitals,” said Kevin McMahon, senior director of community fundraising and cause marketing for CHOP, in a statement. “We’re grateful to Morey’s Piers and everyone who will join us in making a difference in the lives of those in our care.”
A portion of every ticket sold will directly benefit CHOP, funding research, treatments, and compassionate care for children and families regionally and beyond.
