A man has been hospitalized, officials said, after being shot several times both inside and outside a North Philly home where a party was being held on Monday night.
According to police, the incident happened at about 10:54 p.m., when officers responded to a report of multiple gunshots along the 4400 block of North Uber Street.
First responders to the scene found a blood trail leading to the rear of the property, but found no victim there, police said.
A short time later, as officers investigated the scene, police received a report that a 20-year-old man had arrived at a nearby hospital in a private vehicle after being struck multiple times in his “lower extremities” during a shooting on Uber Street.
Investigators believe this man — who was listed in stable condition at the hospital — was attending a party at a property along North Uber Street when gunfire erupted at some point in the evening.
Officials said that investigators believe the shooting occurred both inside and outside the property where the party was being held.
No arrests were immediately announced in this incident and, officials said, no motive was immedately known for the shooting.
But, an investigation remains ongoing.
