L. MACUNGIE, Pa. – A Lower Macungie couple accused of starving and abusing their teen sons were back in court Tuesday.
In Tuesday’s pre-trial hearing in the case of Joshua and Tracy Dechant, the courtroom heard from several witnesses.
They included the couple’s next-door neighbor, and two hospital workers who assisted their twin boys.
The teens were discovered malnourished in January of 2025.
The defense has asked for a change of venue due to the amount of media coverage.
The judge will take it under advisement.
The next court appearance has been scheduled for November 4th.
