Pennsylvania American Water announced Wednesday the boil water advisory for customers in part of Scranton has been lifted.
Customers were notified on Sunday of the loss of water pressure due to a water main break, resulting in the issuance of the boil water advisory. That issue has been resolved, the company said in a release.
The announcement applies to the following Scranton areas:
• 100-400 blocks of Mifflin Avenue• 100-400 blocks of Franklin Avenue• 100-500 blocks of Penn Avenue• 500-700 blocks of Capouse Avenue• 100-900 blocks of Wyoming Avenue• 100-900 blocks of North WashingtonAvenue• 100-900 blocks of Adams Aveue• 100-900 blocks of Jefferson Avenue• 100-900 blocks of Madison Avenue• 100-900 blocks of Monroe Avenue• 300-800 blocks of Gibson Avenue• 400-800 blocks of Pine Street• 100-800 blocks of Olive Street• 200-800 blocks of Vine Street• 100-800 blocks of Mulberry Street• 100-800 blocks of Linden Street• 100-600 blocks of Biden Street
